Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Cruelx, including the website, application, dashboard, reports, checkout flows, emails, free previews, paid reports, subscriptions, PDF exports, white-label features, and related services.

Cruelx is operated by Elad Digital Ltd. For all legal, support, privacy, billing, and refund questions, contact: contact@cruelx.com.

Cruelx provides AI-powered website analysis. Users may submit a website URL, answer questions, and receive website scoring, critical findings, “top burns,” recommendations, copy suggestions, UX/design notes, SEO basics, PDF exports, and other related outputs.

Cruelx may offer free previews, one-time paid reports, subscriptions, report history, white-label features, and other paid or unpaid features. The available features, limits, pricing, models, and product structure may vary over time and are shown on the website or pricing page.

Cruelx is not directed to children. You may use Cruelx only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms and use the service under applicable law.

If you use Cruelx on behalf of a business, client, agency, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to bind that entity to these Terms.

Access to certain features may require an account, email verification, magic link, password, payment confirmation, or dashboard access. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account, access links, password, devices, and account activity.

Cruelx may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if it reasonably believes that an account, website submission, payment, or activity violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, abuses the system, or harms the service.

You are solely responsible for the websites, URLs, questionnaire answers, files, assets, messages, and information you submit to Cruelx.

By submitting a website or URL, you represent and warrant that:

• you have the right, authority, or permission to submit the website for analysis;
• the website is publicly accessible or otherwise lawfully available for Cruelx to analyze;
• your submission does not violate any law, contract, privacy right, intellectual property right, confidentiality duty, or third-party right;
• you will not submit private areas, password-protected areas, confidential systems, restricted data, or content you are not permitted to analyze;
• you will not submit websites or content that are illegal, pornographic, exploitative, hateful, violent, abusive, malware-related, phishing-related, fraudulent, rights-infringing, or otherwise prohibited.

Cruelx currently focuses on public websites. Cruelx is not responsible for verifying ownership, authority, permissions, or rights in relation to a submitted website.

Cruelx is currently intended for English websites and English reports. Cruelx may attempt to analyze websites containing other languages, but quality, accuracy, completeness, and usefulness may be reduced. Reports are provided in English unless Cruelx expressly offers another language option.

The free version may include a website score, top burns, a short preview, limited recommendations, and dashboard access. Free previews may be limited, delayed, reduced, watermarked, rate-limited, model-limited, unavailable, or changed at any time.

Cruelx may use older AI models, different providers, lighter analysis, shorter context, fewer crawled pages, fewer checks, or reduced report depth for free previews compared with paid products.

Paid products may include full reports, deeper recommendations, copy rewrites, UX/design notes, SEO basics, PDF export, report history, white-label features for eligible subscriptions, higher report limits, or other features shown on the pricing page.

Prices, plan names, limits, credits, features, renewal periods, report quantities, and included services may change from time to time. Current pricing and plan details are shown on the Cruelx pricing page or checkout page at the time of purchase.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You are responsible for canceling before the renewal date if you do not want the subscription to continue.

Payments, tax calculation, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, chargebacks, and checkout operations may be handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record or by other payment providers like Stripe. By purchasing, you may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms, checkout rules, tax handling, fraud checks, and payment policies.

Cruelx may deny access to paid features until payment is confirmed. Cruelx may suspend or remove access in cases of failed payment, chargeback, fraud, abuse, refund misuse, or payment reversal.

Refunds are governed by the separate Refund Policy. You should review that policy before purchasing a paid report, subscription, report credit, or other digital product.

Cruelx sells digital products and digital services that may begin immediately after purchase or agreement. By checking the required agreement box, placing an order, or starting report generation, you expressly request and consent to immediate digital performance and delivery.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, once a paid report is generated, the digital product is considered delivered and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or “cooling-off” right that would otherwise apply to undelivered digital content.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Report generation time may vary. It may depend on website size, crawlability, third-party providers, AI providers, server load, queue length, payment status, background jobs, security checks, rate limits, or technical issues.

Cruelx does not guarantee any specific report generation time. Some reports may take longer than expected, fail, be incomplete, or require regeneration.

If a paid report is not generated because of a technical bug and remains unresolved for more than 24 hours after purchase, you may contact contact@cruelx.com. Cruelx may, in its discretion and where appropriate, provide a regenerated report, account credit, replacement credit, or refund. Failed reports are not charged. If a failed report is charged, it should be automatically refunded or otherwise handled under the Refund Policy.

Cruelx uses AI systems, automated crawling, screenshots, heuristics, prompts, scoring systems, and third-party providers. Reports may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, outdated information, subjective judgments, incomplete analysis, or recommendations that are not suitable for your specific business, website, industry, audience, law, or strategy.

Cruelx may not be able to access, crawl, render, interpret, or understand a website fully. Analysis may be affected by cookies, login walls, bot protections, geoblocking, scripts, broken pages, language issues, loading errors, dynamic content, third-party embeds, blocked crawlers, security rules, or provider limitations.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, testing, and deciding whether to use any report output, score, recommendation, copy rewrite, design suggestion, SEO suggestion, or technical suggestion.

Cruelx reports are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Cruelx does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, medical, accessibility certification, compliance certification, security certification, advertising, or professional consulting advice.

Cruelx does not guarantee revenue increases, conversion improvements, SEO rankings, traffic growth, ad performance, brand perception, accessibility compliance, legal compliance, technical correctness, security, business results, or any particular outcome.

Cruelx may include a cruelty-level, directness, roast, burn, or tone-control feature. This feature is intended to adjust the style of website feedback and make critique more memorable, direct, or entertaining. It is not intended to personally attack, harass, bully, defame, shame, discriminate against, or harm any individual.

Users must not use Cruelx outputs to harass, bully, threaten, defame, discriminate against, or harm others.

The CruelxScore system, ranking system, scoring logic, text outputs, report framework, burn structure, analysis process, algorithms, templates, report layout, and related methods are proprietary to Cruelx. Scores are subjective product outputs and should not be treated as objective certifications, audits, guarantees, or industry-standard measurements.

You agree not to:

• use Cruelx for illegal, abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;
• submit prohibited websites, illegal content, pornographic content, exploitative content, malware, phishing pages, or websites you do not have permission to analyze;
• use bots, scripts, scraping systems, automated generation systems, or bulk automation to generate reports without written permission;
• bypass, abuse, or manipulate rate limits, free previews, credits, checkout flows, authentication, or access controls;
• attempt to reverse engineer, clone, extract, copy, or reconstruct Cruelx’s prompts, scoring logic, systems, templates, or proprietary workflows;
• resell, repackage, white-label, or redistribute Cruelx outputs as a competing automated product without permission;
• attack, overload, disrupt, crawl, scrape, or interfere with Cruelx infrastructure;
• upload or submit sensitive personal data, private customer data, passwords, payment card data, government IDs, health data, or confidential business secrets;
• violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other third-party rights;
• use Cruelx outputs in a misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful manner.

Cruelx and its software, design, branding, user interface, code, text, graphics, report structure, scoring systems, prompts, templates, workflows, algorithms, and other materials are owned by Cruelx or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms, you may use reports generated for you for your own website, business, internal review, client work, or agency workflow. This permission does not grant ownership of Cruelx’s underlying systems, prompts, design, scoring logic, software, brand, templates, or proprietary methods.

You retain any rights you have in the content, URLs, files, assets, questionnaire answers, and materials you submit. You grant Cruelx a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, analyze, display, transmit, and use that content as necessary to provide the service, generate reports, process payments, maintain security, provide support, enforce these Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Cruelx relies on third-party services for hosting, deployment, database, authentication, storage, email, payment processing, AI models, crawling, background jobs, domain services, DNS, security, code hosting, and related operations. The service may fail, slow down, become unavailable, or produce incomplete results because of third-party outages, rate limits, errors, policy changes, API changes, security rules, or provider limitations.

Cruelx is not responsible for third-party provider failures, interruptions, data processing practices, checkout errors, bank delays, AI provider limitations, website blocking, or other circumstances outside Cruelx’s reasonable control.

Cruelx may change, limit, suspend, discontinue, or remove any feature, plan, price, credit system, report structure, model, score, dashboard feature, PDF feature, white-label feature, or free preview at any time. Cruelx may also update the service to improve quality, security, cost, performance, compliance, or product direction.

Cruelx is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Cruelx does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, timely, accurate, complete, or error-free operation.

You agree to contact Cruelx before filing a chargeback so that technical, billing, duplicate-payment, or access problems can be reviewed. Cruelx may suspend or terminate accounts, reports, subscriptions, downloads, credits, or future purchases in cases of fraud, refund abuse, excessive disputes, improper chargebacks, payment reversal, or violation of these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruelx and all reports, scores, recommendations, outputs, dashboards, PDFs, free previews, paid products, subscriptions, and related services are provided “as is,” “as available,” and “with all faults,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruelx disclaims all warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, security, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, and guaranteed results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruelx and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, suppliers, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or similar damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost savings, lost traffic, lost rankings, lost conversions, lost opportunities, loss of goodwill, reputational harm, data loss, business interruption, or cost of substitute services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Cruelx for any claim, dispute, or cause of action arising out of or relating to the service, these Terms, any report, any purchase, or any subscription shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cruelx for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability.

These limitations apply whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or any other legal theory, even if Cruelx has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cruelx and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, suppliers, licensors, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses, and fees, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

• your use or misuse of Cruelx;
• your submitted websites, URLs, content, files, assets, questionnaire answers, or messages;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable law;
• your violation of third-party rights;
• your use of any report, recommendation, score, output, PDF, or Cruelx-generated content.

Cruelx may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the service at any time if it reasonably believes that you violated these Terms, created legal risk, abused the system, attempted fraud, harmed other users, interfered with the service, submitted prohibited content, or used the service in a way that may expose Cruelx or others to liability.

You may stop using Cruelx at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, refund rules, payment obligations, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions, survive termination.

Use of Cruelx is also governed by the Cruelx Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Cruelx, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.

Before starting any formal claim, you agree to first contact contact@cruelx.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in this section limits mandatory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Cruelx may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Cruelx after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
