Frequently asked questions
Everything to know about Cruelx: what we check, what it costs, and what the free report and full report include.
What is Cruelx?
Cruelx is a brutally honest website analysis tool.
It reviews your website across SEO, Technical, Marketing & Brand, Design, and Buyer Psychology, then shows what is hurting trust, clarity, and conversions.
You get a clear report with the problems, the reasons, and the fixes.
Why would I need this?
Because your website is already being judged.
Visitors decide fast. Search engines need structure. AI answer tools need clarity. Buyers need trust.
Cruelx shows where your website is confusing, weak, slow, generic, hard to trust, or not convincing enough to make people take action.
Can Cruelx help my website get more customers?
That is the goal.
Cruelx can show what may be stopping visitors from becoming customers.
Weak headlines. Unclear offers. Missing proof. Bad mobile flow. Poor trust signals. Confusing CTAs. Generic design. Slow pages. Buyer doubt.
Cruelx helps you find and fix those problems.
Is Cruelx useful for small businesses and startups?
Yes. Especially small businesses and startups.
Most early websites do not need more noise. They need a clearer offer, stronger trust, better structure, better mobile experience, and a reason for visitors to choose them.
Cruelx helps you see what customers may notice before they call, book, buy, sign up, or leave.
I'm just getting started. Should I use Cruelx now?
Yes.
The earlier you find weak messaging, missing trust signals, bad structure, or poor design decisions, the cheaper they are to fix.
Use Cruelx before you spend money on ads, SEO, redesigns, developers, or agencies. A better diagnosis makes every next step smarter.
Is this just another SEO audit?
No.
SEO is only one part of the review.
Cruelx also checks technical quality, brand clarity, design credibility, and buyer psychology. A site can rank and still fail to convert. A site can look good and still say nothing useful.
Cruelx looks at the full experience.
What makes Cruelx different from normal audit tools?
Most audit tools find technical problems.
Cruelx finds business problems too.
It does not only ask, "Is the page working?" It asks, "Is the page clear, credible, convincing, searchable, usable, and strong enough to win the customer?"
That is the difference.
What makes Cruelx different from using ChatGPT myself?
You can ask a general AI tool to review a website. But Cruelx is built for this specific job.
Cruelx uses structured website analysis, technical checks, visual review, mobile and desktop context, specialized prompts, and our proprietary CruelxScore scoring system.
It's a focused website diagnosis system built to find real problems, prioritize what matters, and turn the analysis into a clear report in less than 5 minutes.
Does Cruelx use advanced AI models?
Yes.
Cruelx is built for frontier model families like OpenAI GPT-5.5 and Anthropic Claude Opus, not cheap mini, nano, or lightweight models.
Website diagnosis needs stronger reasoning, visual understanding, and business judgment, so we use higher-quality models for the core analysis.
How accurate is Cruelx's AI analysis?
Accurate enough to act on, and built to stay honest about what it can see.
Cruelx runs a structured analysis pipeline, not a single chatbot prompt. It crawls your live site, captures real desktop and mobile screenshots, extracts the page's actual content and technical signals, and runs specialized analyses for each of the five pillars using frontier AI models with vision. In the Full Report, scores are computed from the findings by fixed rules; the AI doesn't invent the number.
Every finding points at something observable on your site: a headline, a missing trust signal, a technical issue. You can verify each one yourself in minutes.
What it isn't: a human consultant who knows your business history, or a tool that can see your private analytics. It reviews what a first-time visitor and a search engine can see, which is exactly the view that decides whether people trust you and buy.
Is the Free Report really free?
Yes.
Every site you submit gets an overall score, top 3 burns, and 3 quick wins.
No card needed. The Full Report is what you pay for.
What does the Free Report include?
The Free Report is a fast first look at what Cruelx sees, enough to know whether your website has a real problem.
You get an overall score out of 100, scores for all five pillars, the top 3 issues hurting the site, 3 quick wins you can act on right away, and a short closing read. No credit card required.
The Full Report runs a deeper analysis on our strongest AI models: every finding across all five pillars, the complete technical and SEO breakdowns, copy rewrites, buyer-psychology analysis, a 48-hour / 7-day / 30-day action plan, and a downloadable PDF.
Think of it as diagnosis versus treatment plan: the Free Report tells you something is wrong and where. The Full Report tells you exactly what to change, and in what order.
What does the Full Report include?
The Full Report is the complete diagnosis of one website: every check, every finding, and a plan.
You get an overall score plus individual scores for the five pillars: SEO, Technical, Marketing & Brand, Design, and Buyer Psychology. Each pillar has its own summary and detailed findings, with a specific fix attached to every finding.
Beyond the pillar deep-dives: an executive summary, the issues costing you most, quick wins, an SEO hygiene checklist, technical issues ranked by severity, copy rewrite suggestions, design and typography feedback, buyer-psychology levers, and a prioritized action plan for the next 48 hours, 7 days, and 30 days.
Everything is delivered in your dashboard and as a designed 40+ page PDF you can download and share with your designer, developer, or team.
What is a Quick Report?
Quick Reports are the fast scans included with monthly plans: an overall score, scores for all five pillars, the top 3 issues, 3 quick wins, and a closing read, with no upgrade prompts.
They're built for volume: run one before and after every change, or scan a prospect's site in minutes. Starter includes 90 Quick Reports per month, Agency 300, and Agency Pro 750, on top of your Full Reports.
A one-time Full Report purchase includes 5 Quick Reports too, and those never expire.
When a site deserves the complete diagnosis, run a Full Report.
Will my score change between the Free Report and the Full Report?
It can, and that is expected.
The Free Report and Quick Reports score your site with a single fast AI pass, so their numbers are a first estimate. The Full Report runs the complete five-pillar analysis on our strongest AI models and computes the overall score with fixed weights in code.
When the two differ, the Full Report score is the more precise read.
How long does a Cruelx audit take?
Most audits finish in about two to five minutes.
The pipeline crawls your site, captures desktop and mobile screenshots, runs the AI analysis across all five pillars, and assembles the report. You can watch the progress live, and the report lands in your dashboard the moment it's done.
Complex or slow-loading sites can take a little longer. If a site can't be analyzed at all (it requires a login, blocks our crawler, or fails to load), the analysis stops and you are not charged.
Why do you need my email?
We do not deliver reports by email. Your reports live in your dashboard.
Your email helps us verify that you are a real person, protect the system from bots, and keep your reports available when you come back.
How much does Cruelx cost?
Cruelx starts free, and the paid options are flat and simple.
A Free Report costs nothing: submit a site and you get an overall score, the top 3 issues, and 3 quick wins, with no credit card.
A one-time Full Report is $8.99 per website. If you review sites regularly, monthly plans add volume: Starter is $25/month for 5 full reports plus 90 quick reports, Agency is $75/month for 20 full reports plus 300 quick reports, and Agency Pro is $149/month for 50 full reports plus 750 quick reports. The Agency plans also include client-ready branded reports.
There are no setup fees and no contracts: one-time purchases are one-time, and monthly plans cancel anytime. Current details are always on the pricing page.
Does Cruelx offer white-label reports for agencies?
Yes. The Agency and Agency Pro plans include fully branded client reports.
Your logo, business name, brand color, and footer replace Cruelx's branding across the on-screen report, the PDF, and the shareable client link. Your client sees your brand, not ours.
You also get a client portfolio dashboard that groups reports by domain, per-report client names and notes, and share links you can revoke anytime.
Agency is $75/month for 20 full reports and 300 quick reports; Agency Pro is $149/month for 50 full reports and 750 quick reports. Both are on the pricing page.
Why don't you offer unlimited reports?
Because high-quality reports have real costs.
Cruelx uses advanced AI models, structured analysis, and visual website review across desktop and mobile. That is very different from a cheap keyword scan.
We prefer clear limits and better reports over "unlimited" output that becomes shallow, slow, or unreliable.
Does Cruelx redesign my site for me?
No.
Cruelx tells you what is wrong, why it matters, and what to change.
It can also suggest copy rewrites where they matter, but the actual build is handled by you, your designer, or your developer.
Can I use Cruelx with my designer, developer, or marketing team?
Yes.
Cruelx is made to be shared.
You can give the report to your designer, developer, copywriter, SEO person, marketer, agency, or team so everyone can see what needs fixing first.
It helps turn opinions into a clear priority list.
What if my site blocks crawling or requires login?
Cruelx reviews public pages only.
If a URL requires login, sits behind a paywall, blocks our fetcher, or cannot be analyzed properly, the analysis fails and you are not charged.
